This role is crucial in supporting the development and smooth operation of their diverse apprenticeship programs, catering to a wide range of industries. You will work closely with apprentices, employers, and training staff to ensure a high-quality learning experience and successful program outcomes. The position involves a blend of administrative tasks, stakeholder communication, and on-site support for program activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.Liaise with employers to identify apprenticeship opportunities, understand their training needs, and facilitate placements.Support apprentices throughout their journey, providing guidance on their learning plans, progress, and any pastoral needs.Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress, attendance, and qualifications using the designated learning management system.Schedule and organise training sessions, workshops, and assessment dates for apprentices and trainers.Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new apprentices.Communicate effectively with internal trainers, assessors, and external verifiers.Prepare reports on program performance, participation rates, and outcomes for management and funding bodies.Promote the apprenticeship programs to potential candidates and employers through various channels.Manage program resources and materials, ensuring their availability and upkeep.Address and resolve any queries or issues raised by apprentices, employers, or staff in a timely and professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for building rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in education administration, HR, or recruitment, particularly within a vocational training or apprenticeship context, would be highly advantageous.
