We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate, dynamic, and self-motivated Media and Content Creation Lecturer to join our Creative & Performing Arts department. If you have a genuine passion for media and excellent knowledge in the field, this role is for you. The ideal candidate will be experienced in planning, delivering, and managing Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Media qualifications and adept at working with FE students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, deliver, and manage Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Media qualifications.
- Engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds to achieve their highest potential in media studies.
- Monitor and manage student progress throughout their course programme, ensuring high academic achievement and engagement.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters passion and enthusiasm for learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in delivering and managing Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Media qualifications.
- Strong ability to engage and motivate FE students of varying abilities.
- Excellent subject knowledge in media and content creation.
- High expectations for both academic achievement and student engagement.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
