Who we need
We are looking for a candidate with experience of Apprenticeships in pharmacy to join our team, supporting our learners to achieve the skills, knowledge and behaviours of their vocational course. Key duties and responsibilities include :
- Plan, prepare, design and deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment in the workplace
- Take responsibility for a caseload of apprentices and their e-portfolios, ensuring timely completion within agreed and appropriate timescales
- Ensure KPIs are achieved such as completing reviews, off‑the‑job is recorded and up to date, monitoring of attendance, recording of the learner journey and timely completion
- Motivate and inspire all apprentices so that they are supported to achieve excellence and are encouraged to achieve their full potential including higher grades
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the employer’s needs are met
What you’ll bring
The ideal candidate will come from industry or have previous assessing experience within a pharmacy, with a particular focus on Apprenticeships. You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal and be proactive in organising your workload. Essential skills and experience include :
Hold a relevant Pharmacy qualification at L3 or aboveMust be registered with GPhcHold an assessing qualification or equivalent or be willing to work towardsUnderstanding and experience of the delivery and assessment in subject areaDemonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills with ability to manage own diaryA willingness to update own professional developmentAble to work effectively as a member of a team and have experience of successful team working and be committed to a team‑based approach
