Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and organised Training and Development Coordinator to join our team. This role is central to expanding our training offer, coordinating courses, and building strong relationships with learners, trainers, and corporate partners. You will play a key role in helping us recruit students, manage training logistics, and ensure that our programmes are impactful, professional, and inclusive.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment of Learners: Actively promote Roots for Change UK’s training opportunities to the public, community partners, and potential participants.
- Course Coordination: Plan, organise, and oversee the delivery of courses, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring smooth operations and a positive learning environment.
- Corporate Engagement: Attend meetings with corporate partners, employers, and stakeholders to build partnerships and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Administration & Organisation: Manage schedules, training materials, and participant records; ensure compliance with organisational policies and funding requirements.
- Student Support: Provide information and guidance to students before, during, and after courses to maximise engagement and successful outcomes.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Collect feedback, track attendance, and support reporting requirements to demonstrate the impact of our training programmes.
Experience
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of learners and stakeholders.
- Experience in coordinating training, courses, or community projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
