Overview

We are looking to recruit an In-House Trainer to join us at Catalyst Care Group.

The In-House Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs tailored to the needs of both colleagues and clinicians. As an In-House Trainer, your primary goal is to enhance skills and competencies, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and professional development. The In-House Trainer will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs and develop strategies to address skill gaps.

Additionally, the In-House Trainer will maintain accurate training records, develop e-learning modules, and report outcomes to leadership. The role focuses on clinician-centric practices and a person-centered approach, ensuring that training supports the diverse and complex needs of individuals in care. Training topics include medication awareness, epilepsy awareness, positive behavior support, manual handling, and basic life support. Continuous personal learning and development are encouraged to keep the training inclusive and aligned with the organization s growth and the needs of those it supports.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for colleagues and clinicians
Collaborate with departments to identify training needs and address skill gaps
Maintain accurate training records and develop e-learning modules
Report training outcomes to leadership and support regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Minimum Level 3 AET and evidence of delivering health and social care training
Level 3 Assessor qualification, or willingness to work towards it, along with a Care Certificate or readiness to obtain it
Experience working within a health and social care setting, including delivering and assessing the Care Certificate
A valid Train the Trainer certification in core subjects would be advantageous
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, autism, or learning disabilities is a plus
