Apprenticeship End Point Assessor - AL2747 Salary: Hourly Paid Contract Type: Hourly Paid, fixed term until 31st July 2026 Location: Paignton, Devon At South Devon College we are passionate that excellent teaching and learning can transform lives. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented End Point Assessor to join our supportive and professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering End Point Assessment (EPA) activities in accordance with the conditions, timescales, and arrangements outlined in the relevant EPA Plan. In the role of End Point Assessor, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering End Point Assessment activities in accordance with the relevant assessment plans, quality standards, and organisational procedures
- Conduct EPAs in line with South Devon Colleges EPA processes and standardised documentation for the assigned standard(s).
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Assessor (LA) and the EPA Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Lead to review and enhance assessment practices, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all EPA activities in accordance with LA requirements.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EPA Plan and share relevant insights with the LA to support continuous improvement of the Colleges EPA provision.
- Deliver assessments either face-to-face or online, as specified in the EPA Plan and Agreement, and in line with any situational requirements.
- Travel within an agreed radius may be required to fulfil assessment duties (travel expenses will be reimbursed).
- Participate in induction, training, standardisation, moderation, and review meetings as required.
- Accept assessment assignments as allocated by the Lead Assessor.
