About the Opportunity
As a Network Engineer Apprentice in the Time & Frequency team, you’ll help develop resilient network infrastructure for the UK’s National Timing Centre. You'll work on real projects, from network design to implementation, while receiving expert mentoring, off-the-job training, and soft skills development. This two-year Level 4 apprenticeship builds your confidence and professional capabilities, preparing you for a long-term career in network engineering.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in ICT, STEM A-Level, BTEC in IT, or 1+ year IT experience
- Enthusiasm for technology and how things work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and good time management
- Willingness to be based on-site 5 days a week
- Eligibility for BPSS and SC security clearance
Note: You must meet UK residency requirements for both government security clearance and apprenticeship funding.
