You will be the vital link between our valued Kia owners, our expert service technicians, and the Kia Genuine Parts they need. Your mission is to deliver an exceptional service experience by accurately identifying parts, managing inventory efficiently, and providing knowledgeable advice to ensure every Kia receives the best possible care.
Key Details:
Hours: 8:30- 5:30 (1 in 3 Saturdays 9-1. Paid as Overtime)
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays.
Salary: £7.55 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Parts Consultation: Skillfully assist Kia owners and service technicians in identifying and sourcing the correct Kia Genuine Parts and accessories for repairs, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Inventory Stewardship: Meticulously manage our Kia parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate digital and physical records, and timely replenishment to support service department efficiency and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Customer Experience Champion: Deliver outstanding customer service, both in-person and over the phone, embodying Kia's commitment to satisfaction. Clearly communicate parts availability, order ETAs, and technical information with professionalism and courtesy.
- Efficient Order Processing: Accurately and efficiently process parts orders, special orders, and returns, ensuring all quotations, invoices, and related paperwork are completed with precision.
- Collaborative Team Player: Work seamlessly with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure accurate parts allocation for repair orders, streamline workflows, and collectively enhance customer satisfaction.
- Systems Proficiency: Utilize dealership management systems (DMS), electronic parts catalogs (EPC), and tools like Excel to manage inventory, track orders, and generate reports.
- Continuous Learning: Actively engage in training programs, on-the-job learning, and continuously expand your knowledge of Kia vehicles, parts, accessories, and current service campaigns.
- Multilingual Engagement (if applicable): Leverage bilingual or multilingual skills to effectively serve our diverse Kia clientele and enhance their service experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- For Apprentice/Trainee Candidates: No prior parts experience is required. A demonstrable passion for the automotive industry, a strong desire to learn, and a commitment to developing a career as a Parts Advisor are essential. A foundational understanding of vehicle mechanics or components is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills with an unwavering attention to detail (or a strong aptitude to develop these).
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to explain technical information clearly and build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using computers is essential; experience with MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and a willingness to learn specialized automotive software is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Driving licence would be great, but don't worry if you haven't got this yet.
