Are you committed to working towards (and do not already have) a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship qualification?
The Governing Body are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the post of Apprentice Teaching Assistant commencing September 2025. If you are self-motivated, keen and willing to learn and have the enthusiasm to support pupils to meet their full potential both socially and academically we would encourage you to apply.
We have two positions available one is 35 hours per week and the other is 22 hours per week.
The successful candidates will work towards and achieve the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, you may be required to also complete additional units relating to Special Educational Needs. The school will support in house-training, research for assignments, shadowing and mentoring during which you will complete the qualification with an external training provider through the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. All the training will be delivered within the school and you will have guidance and support to complete on the job learning throughout the qualification.
The desired applicants will have a passion or experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and have an understanding of how to support children to be the best they can be.
