Job Description:

Adecco is recruiting for a Trainer to join Dorset Police. The role is based at their HQ in Winfrith.

This is an office-based position, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. The pay rate is £17.24 per hour.

The role requires flexibility to travel to other premises in Ferndown. Please note, this is a temporary position until March 2026.

The purpose of the role:

* Design and deliver training and development interventions to ensure police officers, staff, and other members meet the force's requirements and priorities.
* Focus on delivering initial and force training programs across geographic areas, including targeted training for specific staff groups.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate, prepare annual training schedules, and design, develop, and deliver training packages, including initial and force training.
* Deliver training as a facilitator/lecturer across various areas as needed.
* Design and deliver training packages, including written materials, classroom sessions, and learning exercises, utilizing available technology and innovative methods.
* Identify individual and organizational training needs through training needs analysis and discussions with management.

Note: Due to police criteria, applicants must have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years continuously. Less than 5 years will not be considered.
