Rate of Pay: £26.43 - £28.67 per hour
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Functional Skills Maths & English Teacher to join a college in Birmingham. This temporary ongoing role is set to start in September 2025 and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Maths and English.
- Help students achieve their functional skills qualifications.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress.
Qualifications Needed:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, Cert Ed).
- A degree in Mathematics, English, or a related subject.
- Experience in teaching Functional Skills or GCSE Maths and English.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
