How You’ll Play Your Part
You will undertake newbuild and repair activities on vehicles of all types to the highest standard within the scheduled times.
- To be able to build commercial vehicle bodies on to customers chassis
- To retrofit equipment to vehicles to the highest standards.
- To care for customers’ vehicles and property to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
- To carry out all work in a safe, environmentally friendly, and economical way.
- To build a bank of knowledge and skills to ensure you build to the latest recommended operating procedures.
- To uphold the reputation of Alloy Bodies Limited at every opportunity when interacting with others internally or externally.
About You
You will have experience in the build and repair of vehicles and coachwork. You will have an openness and willingness to learn and develop your skills through training. You will be highly methodical when undertaking a new build and pay close attention to detail. You will be good at prioritising your workload and have a numeracy and literacy level adequate to deal with documentation. You will have good organisational skills and to be able to communicate effectively with your line manager. Finally, an understanding of vehicle make-up is essential.
On Offer
40-hours per week 7.00 am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, salary dependant on experience and skill, to be discussed in interview. Opportunity to earn bonus.
Place of work would be Alloy Bodies, Miles Platting M40 8HN.
