Do you have a passion for supporting young people and vulnerable adults in their career development?Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking an experienced Careers & Progression Advisor to join our dynamic team at the Aylesbury Campus. This is a full-time role for 39 weeks per year.Why Join Us? We are committed to achieving the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks as outlined by the Department for Education and work closely with the Careers Enterprise Company to ensure a high-quality careers education programme.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Careers Guidance: Provide impartial careers information, advice, and guidance as set out in the college’s Careers Strategy.
- Lead Programme Development: Plan, develop, and implement a cross-college careers programme that meets all eight Gatsby Benchmarks.
- Professional Careers Advice: Deliver professional careers advice to students in line with the College Careers Strategy.
- Support EHCP Students: Assist the SENCOs in transitioning EHCP students onto the correct programmes of study.
- Enhance Student Recruitment: Improve recruitment of prospective students onto the correct programmes of study through excellent information, advice, and guidance (IAG).
