Join our client's dynamic team in West London, where they equip our learners with essential knowledge and skills required by the computing industry. We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Lecturer to deliver a range of Computing courses from Level 1 to Level 5.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions across various levels of BTEC programmes, from Level 3 to Level 5.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials based on course objectives.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure content is up-to-date with industry standards.
- Engage with students aged 16-18, motivating them towards achieving their educational and career goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student learning experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Degree in a Computing subject.
- Some teaching experience, preferably including delivery of BTEC programmes Level 3 - 5.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Cyber Security and Incident Management
- Cloud Storage and Collaboration Tools
- Networking and IT Service Delivery
- Knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Database modelling
- Database implementation (e.g., MS Access)
- Project Management
- If not already possessed, willingness to achieve a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, with support from the College.
