About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Trainer for our Smart Home and Building Automation courses and workshops. As a Loxone trainer, you'll share your expertise with our new and experienced Loxone installation Partners – from planning and configuration to the installation of modern building automation. We want our training to excite, be inspiring, and leave attendees with the confidence to put in practice what they learn. You'll be the one to make that a reality through your expertise on the topics and your enthusiasm at the front of the seminar room.
We'll give you the best onboarding experience to immerse yourself in the world of Loxone knowledge. This includes a three-week onboarding bootcamp at our amazing Loxone Campus in Austria where you'll spend your time in a classroom environment learning from some of our best minds and most enthusiastic Loxonauts.
This role isn’t just about training day in and day out. It's about shaping the minds of Loxone installers of varying skillsets and niche expertise. You'll take on delivering webinars that are designed to educate in bite-sized chunks, and film educational how-to videos that offer a rich source of repeated learning material for thousands of installers.
Our installers are at the centre of our core statement. Investing in their education is the first step to a strong business relationship that puts them in the best position to be successful in their own businesses.
If you’re technically minded and enjoy delivering inspiring training and creating how-to material, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver practical training courses in the field of home and building automation (located at our seminar facility in Theale, Reading - with future off-site locations). Ranging from foundation training to refresher courses, specialised training, or focus workshops (e.g., lighting control, energy management, audio, access & security, etc.)
- Further development and installers from the electrical trade to become successful Loxone professionals.
- You inspire your training participants and create a learning environment that is exciting and fun, while informative and builds confidence.
- Planning, design and ongoing quality improvement of (digital) learning and course material as well as ongoing optimisation of the training concept.
- Represent Loxone “as the face to the outside world” and further develop customer relationships.
- Support at various product events, workshops or information events for Partners, architects or employees.

- Networking knowledge – a solid understanding of IP networking, routers, firewalls, DHCP, VLANs, and Wi-Fi configurations, with the confidence to diagnose when a network-related issue is impacting an installation and advise an installer on reaching a resolution.

- Experience in a training environment is an advantage
- Passion for home and building automation and the ability to inspire and enthuse people is vital
- Strong communicator, brings the energy as a reliable team player coupled with the joy of actively collaborating with people
