The Role.
As our Learning & Development Lead, you’ll be responsible for designing and embedding learning that drives performance and aligns business objectives.
You will take ownership of the learning platforms and lead on the implementation of inclusive development initiatives across our group organisation.
In this role, you will:
- Design, deliver, and evaluate our leadership and management development programmes.
- Develop a cohesive learning strategy that supports business priorities and succession planning.
- Collaborate with senior HR Business Partners and business leaders to embed a culture of continuous learning.
- Manage the Astute learning platform, ensuring its full potential is realised.
- Leverage AI and digital tools to personalise learning and drive smarter engagement.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure cost-effective delivery and positive ROI.
- Provide insight through data and feedback to continually enhance the impact of learning interventions.
- Travel regularly to various UK offices to engage teams across the Group.
About You.
To succeed in this role, you’ll be confident, credible, and passionate about developing people. You’ll be a skilled facilitator and strategic thinker who can influence senior stakeholders and execute at pace.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in L&D leadership roles, ideally within a group/matrix structure.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to engage varied audiences.
- Proven experience designing and delivering engaging learning and development courses, particularly in leadership and management development
- Experience with budget management and delivering ROI on learning investments.
- Proficiency with learning platforms and digital tools (e.g. LMS, AI-based solutions).
- A CIPD or L&D qualification preferred but not essentially.
- Some experience with apprenticeship providers and knowledge of the apprentice levy would be preferred
- Willingness to travel regularly and work flexibly across multiple UK sites.
