At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About the role: We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to join our Safeguarding Team as a Safeguarding Adviser. This is a key role in ensuring the safety and welfare of students at Writtle College by providing help, support and appropriate responses to staff and students. You will monitor, escalate and signpost concerns related to the welfare of children, vulnerable adults, or other at-risk groups to suitable internal and external services and agencies.
Applicants should have a degree or relevant professional qualification and proven experience working in safeguarding. To succeed in your application, it is vital that you have practical knowledge of following statutory guidance in working with young people and/or vulnerable adults, as well as dealing with confidential/sensitive issues including Safeguarding and Prevent.
