If you’re passionate about technical education and have the strategic know-how to shape national and regional skills agendas, this could be your next big move.
You’ll be heading up the delivery of a forward-thinking skills support service - helping members navigate everything from qualifications and apprenticeships to training and workforce growth.
It’s a role that blends thought leadership with hands-on impact, offering you the platform to drive real change across the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Acting as the go-to expert on qualifications, funding, and workforce development.
- Designing engaging guidance for members through digital and traditional formats.
- Supporting businesses directly with one-to-one advice.
- Overseeing the expansion of a dedicated Business Growth Hub (helping our members scale!)
- Representing the organisation on national and regional forums, influencing policy and shaping the future of the technical education sector.
- Leading key committees and working groups across the UK to improve industry-wide outcomes.

- A background in further education, apprenticeships, or workforce development
- Experience offering guidance to businesses or working with growth or support services - or transferable skills that show you’d thrive in this kind of role.
- A proactive, solutions-led approach and the curiosity to help shape what the future of skills support looks like.

The Package
Salary:Up to £70,000 depending on experience
- Generous holiday:25 days + bank holidays, with extra Christmas closure and an option to buy more.
