Role Description

This is a role for an Employment Coach based in North Solihull, working on-site and meeting participants in outreach locations.

The Employment Coach will be responsible for providing job coaching, interpersonal skills training, coaching sessions, communication support, and career counseling to individuals seeking employment and skills development - particularly those who are at risk if unemployment because of health conditions. Therefore, the role will also require a interaction with NHS staff, DWP and employers across all sectors.

Qualifications

Job Coaching experience - at least 2 years.
Level 2 IAG minimum (with willingness to work towards level 3).
Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities.
Experience in prioritising and managing caseloads.
Ability to provide effective support to people experiencing health difficulties and / or with disability.
Good understanding of diversity and inclusion.
Teamwork essential, as you will be part of a wider charitable organisation.
Resilience to manage caseloads of people experiencing health related difficulties.
Outcome focussed, solution focussed and genuinely empathetic.
Able to thrive in a smaller organisation with limited resources.
Values-driven.
