Main purpose of job
To perform a variety of administrative duties ensuring compliance to the apprenticeship funding rules and to provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders to support apprentices to achieve their programme.
Duties include:
- Providing guidance to external and internal stakeholders on apprenticeship requirements
- Completing on-programme apprenticeship funding paperwork
- Completing audits on progress and off-the job training time records
- Discussing course progress with apprentices and their employers
- Providing administrative support for End Point Assessment
- Preparing basic data/excel reports
- Answering enquiries by telephone and email
- Data entry and maintaining records, filing systems and computer files
- Writing and dispatching correspondence
- Assisting the other Apprenticeship Teams as necessary

- Administration or secretarial experience
- Strong attention to detail

- Previous experience of using Excel

Desirable Skills
- Experience in or knowledge of apprenticeship services
- Experience in or knowledge of the pharmacy or healthcare sector
Relevant Skills and Experience
Applicants must have excellent overall IT skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and, in particular, MS Excel. A high level of accuracy, keen attention to detail and the ability to spot errors will be key attributes in the successful applicant, as will strong organisational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills will also be essential to the role.
Knowledge of the Pharmacy, Education and Training Sector is not essential as full training will be provided as part of the induction process, however experience working in the pharmacy sector would be desirable. Salaries and benefits
The starting salary is competitive, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be offered a contract totalling 37 hours per week.
The role will require employee to work in the office for minimum of 3 days a week.
