Salary: £28,932 - £37,347 + excellent benefits
Contract Type: Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Location: Paignton, Devon
We are looking for a professional Lecturer to teach Maths (A Level). You will be required to undertake formal scheduled teaching duties as follows:- teaching, tutorials, and student assessment. You will be required to plan, teach and assess groups studying A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics; Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths); GCSE Maths and any other programmes appropriate to your qualifications and experience.
You will need a relevant degree and continued professional development. You will also need Relevant subject knowledge, good organisational/communication skills, be good inter-personal skills & persuader, a good motivator, a keen interest in/understanding of pupil-centred learning & ability to develop effective working relationships with pupils and staff. You will also need to be Able to make considered decisions and where necessary, take risks, proven capacity for hard work/tenacity, sensitivity in dealing with difficult situations and be flexible.
