This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated IT professional to join our IT services team. This newly created role of deputy Head of IT is to provide capacity, expertise and operational leadership to our very busy IT services team. You will be responsible for providing a proactive and customer-focused support to students and staff. To succeed in this role you will have: • very good IT infrastructure knowledge and experience with specialism in cyber security and M365 security compliance and identity management. • knowledge and experience of Cyber Essentials certification and technical controls implementation • experience of day to day operational line management of an IT team. • knowledge and experience of Intune MDM deployment with conditional access and application protection policy. • knowledge and experience of working in a team with a “can do attitude” There will be opportunities to expand your knowledge by supporting the IT Services team with various latest technologies, including Office 365, VMware, Microsoft, Desktop application and cloud computing.
