Purpose
- Develop a market leading curriculum and resources using emerging technologies.
- Lead a team of home-based Skills Teachers to deliver outstanding teaching and learning using distance learning tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, implement emerging technologies to improve and develop engaging online teaching resources and curriculum
- Collaborate with SLT to carry out pedagogical research, technology integration of virtual learning platforms/environments
- Provide training on new technologies and resources to ensure that delivery teams can use these effectively
- Provide research into educational theories, instructional design, and assessment strategies
- Review and coordinate the development of up to date and engaging online teaching resources
- Collaborate with marketing to support the development of digital resources
- Develop and coach Skills Teachers to provide outstanding and inspirational teaching sessions using distance learning tools and emerging technologies
- Continually develop working knowledge of qualification curriculum and apprenticeship standards
- Maintain own levels of professional development through networking with educators, exploring new teaching methodologies and working practices to maintain the quality and innovation of the curriculum
- Carry out monthly 1-1 meetings with Skills Teachers to manage and review performance levels
- Ensure the quality of delivery through regular observations of teaching practice
- Review and organise teaching schedules to meet the needs of the organisation
- Provide teaching session attendance reports, including feedback and evaluation, identification of emerging themes, trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with Operations to monitor and/or improve apprentices’ engagement/interaction to group teaching sessions
- Organise and deliver regular Skills Teacher curriculum consultation meetings to provide updates and standardisation activities
- Support adaptations for apprentices with self-declared learning difficulties/disabilities when attending online teaching sessions
- Manage the Skills Teacher delivery of remote classrooms, using visual/audio aids to facilitate excellence in learning and providing a safe learning environment
- Manage own time effectively to meet the requirements of the business, attending the office as required
- Follow internal Safeguarding processes as required
- Promote Eden Training Solutions at every opportunity with apprentices, as well as all other internal and external parties
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- An experienced leader with a proven track record of managing outstanding levels of teaching and learning
- Experience of creating engaging and motivational teaching resources and curriculum development
- Ability to research current and emerging technologies to lead the development of market leading curriculum
- Confident using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Teams
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem solving skills
- Honesty and reliability
- Ability to work to strict deadlines

Desirable
- Experience in Early Years Management
- Experience of Ofsted Inspections

Qualifications
Mandatory level qualifications:
- A- C GCSE English (or equivalent)
Desirable level qualifications:
- Teaching qualification (Level 5 or above)
- Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies (or equivalent)
- TAQA or equivalent qualification (e.g. D32/33, A1, CAVA)
- Team Leader / Management qualification
- Safeguarding Level 2
