Tutor / Assessor Role Profile
On Course South West is Plymouth City Council’s Adult Learning Provider. We are committed to adult skills development in the city and are seeking qualified tutors. Our aim is to increase adult participation in training and skills which will eventually lead to participants feeling more self-assured and confident in their employment prospects, leading to greater engagement in further training and attainment of qualifications. Teaching is delivered across the city in education, employment and community venues. If you are passionate about teaching adults then please read on:
The first role is to deliver a variety of health and social care courses including a range of pre-employment, apprenticeships, specialised and accredited qualifications. If you are an experienced tutor in Health and Social Care with a passion for making a difference, if you have the ability to instil confidence and can encourage others to want to work in this sector then we want to hear from you!
The second role will suit someone who would love to share their confidence in English, maths, digital and other subjects that help others to build learner’s skills? We are seeking experienced Tutors to join On Course South West to deliver courses across the city.
If you have, the skills and creativity to deliver qualifications, design courses and deliver innovative teaching, we would like to hear from you.
This role is suitable for flexible working subject to the needs of the service.
