We are looking for a Client Sales Executive to join our Bauer Academy Team in Manchester, London or Peterborough.
As Bauer Academy continues to grow, we need you to join our dedicated sales team who are passionate about Learning & Development. In this role you will be responsible for financial growth in the apprenticeship and L&D area for Bauer.
Our Team
This role sits within the Bauer Academy Commercial Team and reports into the Commercial Director. Bauer Academy are Bauer Media’s in-house training provider, offering work-based learning solutions and apprenticeships to over 60 external clients, as well as to Bauer’s people across 14 countries. Originally established as a pipeline for new talent, we are now a government-registered learning and development Centre of Excellence with a team of passionate industry experts. We design and deliver courses, workshops and apprenticeships in the areas of leadership, journalism, content creation and media production.
In this role you will be working from home and our office location in either Manchester, London or Peterborough.
What you will do
- React to all incoming activity on the apprenticeship portal – maximising opportunity and revenues.
- To develop current clients through other apprenticeship standards and into L & D
- Create contact and build relationships with Heads of L &D gauging their needs and developing proposals to address.
- Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships and identify new opportunities in the market.
- Client meetings
- Creating trading agreements
- Forecasting sales
- Collaborating with other members of the team to ensure the highest quality decks and presentations are delivered to clients.
- To work alongside the CD and sales team to develop sales collateral.
What you will bring
- Experience implementing effective sales processes and plans.
- Proactive
- Experience identifying and converting new business leads and exploiting commercial opportunities.
- Experience in working in a target driven environment with a good sales history.
- Experience building long term client relationships, with evidenced growth.
- Excellent business development skills
- Excellent Pitching experience - face to face and remote sales experience
- Good presenting skills
- Entrepreneurial in approach – always looking for opportunities with fresh ideas. Highly collaborative, a team player, with good inter-personal skills and the ability to motivate others.
- Have knowledge of apprenticeship Levy and manipulation thereof. Transfers/5% etc. to increase business opportunity – not essential.
