Salary: Unqualified: £28,679 - £30,407 Pro rata
Qualified: £33,218 - £33,379 Pro rata
Duration: 1 year or until the person on leave returns
Location: Wakefield City Campus
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to cover maternity leave at Selby College. This is 0.8FTE post for approximately 9 months.
As a lecturer in Beauty Therapy, you will deliver both theory and practical sessions in our Beauty Therapy Salons.
The post holder will provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all learners within their remit successfully achieve their highest potential within the time planned.
As a lecturer in Beauty Therapy, you should have:
- Relevant qualifications in the Beauty Therapy Industry - to at least Level 3
- GCSE A - C in English and Maths or equivalent
- Assessor Awards
- Experience of working with 16-18year olds, ideally in a teaching capacity
- An up to date knowledge of the relevant Beauty Therapy curriculum.
You should have excellent communication and organisational skills. We are looking for a person who is supportive, engaging and can motivate and inspire young people to succeed and achieve their full potential.
