Over 22 years’ experience working within education, including senior leadership roles as Deputy Headteacher, Teaching & Learning Lead and Designated Safeguarding Lead within a primary school setting. Extensive experience supporting children and young people with a wide range of social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs, alongside regular work with families, external agencies and safeguarding professionals.
Experience leading pastoral support, behaviour support and safeguarding processes, including working closely with vulnerable learners and coordinating multi-agency support. Significant involvement in mentoring and supporting staff, early career teachers and trainees through coaching, professional development and structured support programmes.
Additional experience includes designing and delivering training and professional development programmes, facilitating national ECT and NPQ programmes, and working collaboratively with schools and educational professionals to improve outcomes for learners. Regularly involved in supporting individuals to overcome barriers to learning, engagement and attendance through tailored and relational approaches.
