Skills

I enjoy learning to code and deal with technological problems of all types. I've worked on personal projects by myself and with others that has lead me to research and learn to varying levels the Python language, as well as Ruby, HTML and CSS. These could help me to acclimate quickly to an environment where I must work with IT systems, numbers or other areas of relation. Beyond coding, I enjoy learning about and using new technologies and systems, researching and reading about topics in the field that interest me. That has lead me to research for instance about AI and how it works, as a topical example. This background knowledge would help me to acclimate to learning in the apprenticeship and in a working role too.

As someone who enjoys communication and working with others, I consider my time volunteering over the past 2 years to have been valuable experiences that I enjoyed and have had a measurable impact on my life. Outside of the volunteering, I enjoy social sport such as weekly football and badminton. Though the similarities between these two experiences might not be evident, I believe they've helped me to become an effective communicator, something which would be beneficial in any workplace.

My most key strengths lie in my mentality and adaptability; I believe they are areas that would help me to succeed in this apprenticeship. My ability to work at a task with diligence is something that has come to help me over time and I believe would serve to assist me again in this apprenticeship. Interpersonal skills are relevant in any workspace and I believe my combination of confidence and communication skills are something that would allow me to adjust to the environment quickly and effectively, as mentioned earlier.
