I am an experienced maths educator with 20 years in the classroom, during which I’ve taught a wide range of learners across GCSE Higher Mathematics and Functional Skills Level 2. Over the course of my career, I’ve taken on roles as a Maths Teacher, Head of Maths, and Assistant Head Teacher, giving me a strong blend of classroom expertise, curriculum leadership, and whole‑school responsibility.
I have led teams, developed curriculum pathways, and supported colleagues through coaching and mentoring, always with a focus on improving teaching and learning. Raising attainment, building confidence in maths, and creating a positive, achievement‑focused culture have been central to my work throughout every role I’ve held.
