A highly experienced Learning & Development professional with a strong foundation in multi-site retail leadership, apprenticeship coaching, and talent development. With over 20 years of operational management experience and a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, I bring a people centred, practical, and results driven approach to learning delivery. My recent roles as an Apprenticeship Coach at Travis Perkins and Screwfix have strengthened my expertise in designing and delivering high quality learning experiences across Level 3 and Level 4 programmes. I have successfully coached diverse cohorts of learners often up to 50 at a time through their full apprenticeship journey, tailoring support to individual needs, including SEND learners, and ensuring high achievement and progression rates. I am recognised for my ability to engage managers and mentors, create impactful learning content, and support even the most challenging learners to successful completion. Prior to moving into L&D, I built a strong operational career as a Branch Manager, Store Manager, and Area Manager across major UK retailers including Screwfix, Boots, Poundstretcher, Clinton Cards, and Outfit Arcadia. These roles developed my expertise in leadership, coaching, performance management, customer experience, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement skills that now underpin my effectiveness as an educator and coach.
