About
The learner experience is the most important part of the role, I will ensure robust feedback on coursework is complete to motivate and prepare learners for their end goal while individualising feedback. That is to become more knowledgeable in the qualification and a more rounded human being, while preparing them for everyday life. Setting individual goals and SMART targets will help the learners to keep pace on the learning journey to aim for progress of the qualification and timely completion. I share and promote best practice and ensure that delivery across standards and courses are in line with the standardisation agreed. Through the provision of IAG, I strive to seek the opportunities to improve the learner journey continuing to develop learners in their role. This ensures consistent and high-quality delivery allowing the learner to feel more motivated as regular catch ups allow them to share concerns and feel fully supported in their learning. As a quality lead and tutor, my role is to manage, maintain, support and lead on the provision of quality within my field of expertise. I quality assure, motivate, and develop the tutors in their sector to deliver a high-quality learning and development learner experience. I share and promote best practice and ensure that delivery across standards and courses are in line with the standardisation agreed. Through the provision of IAG to tutors, I strive to seek the opportunities to improve the learner journey continuing to develop the tutors in their role. This ensures consistent and high-quality delivery allowing the tutors to feel more motivated as regular catch ups allow them to share concerns and feel fully supported in their role. This gives them the confidence to improve and would be part of CPD. I ensure ultimately, my role is to champion the tutors, and to support the organisation to deliver a high quality of service to each individual studying within the college. Tracking of at risk learners and supporting tutors to keep learners on track of their course ensures more timely completions keeping interest and momentum for timely completion. Working well with the team using a management style and nurturing approach I ensure I trust coaches to work independently and understand they have the ability and skills now to lead the learners to success. I always stretch and challenge the tutors within standardisations to explore further areas for future growth. Creating a safe place to practice skills allows for feedback and support from the tutors to improve their skills and developing them in the long term.
