About

I have 30 years of experience within the FE and Skills sector predominately working within apprenticeships. Most recently I set up an apprenticeship business for a training company from the ground up. Setting up all systems, processes, building and developing the team, leading us through the initial first Ofsted inspection in December 2024 (achieved 'making significant progress - grade1 i all areas) and the first full Ofsted inspection in June 2025 (achieved an over all grade 2 'Good' with a grade 1 for learner attitude and behaviours). Over the years I have done a full range of roles within FE and skills that are clearly outlined in detail in my CV. These include: head of Client Programmes, National Account Manager, Development Manager, Operations Manager and L7D Manager. My transferrable skills from undertaking those roles include (but not limited to): Collaboration and building partnerships with a variety of stakeholders such as employers, awarding organisations/ EPAOs, funding agencies and regulators, subcontractors/associates and subject matter experts; Excellent understanding of funding rules, governance and compliance; Operations and building/developing and leading a team, quality assurance and quality management and curriculum development to meet regulated and non-regulated programmes. I maintain my own CPD to ensure that I have up to date skills and knowledge in an ever changing sector.
