About
am a dedicated Early Years professional with over five years’ experience working in a nursery setting, having progressed from Early Years Apprentice to Senior Room Leader through consistent high performance and commitment to quality practice. I have extensive hands-on experience delivering high-quality provision in line with the EYFS framework and working confidently within a highly regulated environment.
My role has involved safeguarding leadership as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, maintaining accurate and compliant documentation, auditing children’s and staff records, and supporting inspection readiness. I am highly skilled in observation, assessment, and professional judgement, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
I have regularly mentored and supported apprentices, students, and junior staff, providing guidance on professional standards, safeguarding procedures, and documentation requirements. I communicate clearly and professionally with parents, colleagues, and external professionals, and I am confident managing workloads, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards under pressure.
With first-hand experience of completing an Early Years apprenticeship, I have a strong understanding of the learner journey and assessment expectations and am motivated to transition into an assessment-focused role supporting the development of future practitioners.
