1) Teaching I design and deliver high-quality and challenging learning experiences that equip students with the skills and knowledge required by employers across Level 4-7 Construction Management programmes aligned with CIOB and RICS accreditation requirements. I teach specifically identified subjects and topics including Innovation in Construction, Preconstruction Management, Economic and Financial Management, Sustainability in Construction, Digital Construction and BIM, Construction Technology, Legal Issues and Construction Contract Law, Procurement and Contract Administration, Project Planning, Health and Safety, Cost Planning and Commercial Management, and Measurement. I provide effective and efficient teaching through lecture, seminar, and tutorial modes of delivery, utilizing varied pedagogical approaches including problem-based learning, case studies, and interactive sessions. 2) Teamwork and Communication Contributions I work with colleagues in developing the provision within the faculty, contributing to curriculum review, module development, and quality enhancement initiatives. I lead tutor teams, managing curriculum delivery, assessment coordination, and quality assurance for professionally accredited courses. I work within a team to promote the development of curriculum practices of benefit to students and the University, championing innovative teaching approaches and industry engagement. I participate in appropriate quality assurance procedures including internal moderation, external examiner processes, and professional body accreditation reviews. I make a positive contribution to the overall development of the department through strategic planning, student recruitment activities, and employer engagement. I ensure the implementation of all University policies including those relevant to teaching, health and safety and quality assurance. I possess proven expertise in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management, Sustainability, BIM, Digital Construction, and UK construction legislation. Experienced in designing and delivering transformative and innovative learning experiences within professionally accredited Built Environment programmes (CIOB, RICS, CICES).
