I am experienced in delivering trust-wide education and bite-sized teaching sessions within the ward environment, supporting ongoing competence and patient safety. I am confident in my clinical skill base and able to clearly articulate and demonstrate these skills to others. I provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment, recognising that learners have diverse educational needs and adapting teaching approaches accordingly. I am passionate about nursing education and committed to supporting and inspiring the next cohort of nurses while driving positive change in practice.
About
I have a background primarily in Intensive Care Nursing, having had experience within medical emergency teams, internationally, and within flight teams. I am Advanced Life Support (ALS) certified and I have completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing, a 20 credit Mentorship L7 paper and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing, via Massey University New Zealand. I am currently completing my Master's at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. I have a passion for pre-hospital medicine, and hope to complete a dissertation in this subject in 2027.
