About
an experienced Lecturer in Health and Social Care with a robust academic, clinical, and educational background, currently teaching at the Anglia Ruskin University and University of Bolton (now known as Greater Manchester). My qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Nottingham Trent University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound Diagnostics, and an MBBS degree. This multidisciplinary foundation allows me to integrate public health, clinical practice, and academic rigor into my teaching and student support practices. Teaching and Learning Experience I have extensive experience designing, developing, and delivering modules across undergraduate programmes in Health and Social Care. At both University of Bolton, Manchester (UoBM), I lead the Fundamentals of Human Anatomy module at Level 4, where I deliver interactive sessions using a mix of visual tools and applied clinical examples. At MCUK College, I deliver the University of Wolverhampton (UKMC) - Health and Social Care content across several levels and formats, including lectures, tutorials, and workshops, and embed literacy, numeracy, supervision and digital skills into vocational teaching. My teaching methods are diverse and inclusive, making use of e-learning platforms such as the Anglia Ruskin and UoBM VLE and Moodle to enhance independent learning. I regularly update teaching materials to reflect evolving healthcare policies and pedagogic standards, ensuring quality and relevance. The VLE is very similar to the ARUL VLE so I am very familiar and have a good working knowledge.
