I am an experienced computer scientist and academic with over 15 years of combined experience in higher education, research, and laboratory teaching. I have worked as a lecturer, teacher, lab tutor, and senior research officer at the University of Essex and the University of Baghdad. I have delivered undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions across a wide range of computer science subjects, including Introduction to Programming (Python), Web Development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), Databases, Computer Architecture, Electronics, Programming, Computer Vision, Languages and Compilers, and Text Analytics. I have taught and supported advanced modules in Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Data Analysis, and Brain Computer Interface related subjects. My responsibilities have included supervising laboratory work, supporting research-based learning, guiding students in experimental design and data analysis, and assisting with academic writing and project development.
