About
I am an experienced Engineering Lecturer and Electrical Engineer with a strong background in delivering technical education across Electrical, Electronic, and Mechatronics subjects. I have taught at both Grantham College and the Engineering Training Trust, where I delivered units from Level 2 to Level 5, including Electrical Principles, Electronics, Mechatronics, Programming, AutoCAD, and apprenticeship-based modules. My responsibilities included developing schemes of work, preparing assessments, differentiating delivery, embedding Maths and English, supporting learners academically and pastorally, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment. In addition to my teaching experience, I bring hands-on industry expertise as an Electrical Design Engineer at Exponent Engineers and as a Project Administrator at Stallions, where I led technical development projects involving blockchain systems, software development, and engineering design. This blend of teaching and industry experience allows me to integrate real-world engineering applications into the classroom and stay aligned with current sector trends and employer expectations. I hold a Level 6 qualification in Electrical Engineering (BE Electrical Engineering), an MSc in Project Management, and the TQUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training, with a willingness to pursue further teaching or assessor qualifications. My strong technical knowledge, combined with my commitment to learner success and curriculum excellence, makes me well-suited for an Engineering Lecturer role.
