About
I have over a decade of experience in Higher Education, specialising in teaching, research, academic skills development, and curriculum enhancement. I have taught across Regent College London, London School of Science and Technology, and UK Management College, where I delivered lectures, seminars, and assessments in Health and Social Care and Social Sciences.
Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of modules—including Sociology of Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Health Promotion, and Leadership and Teamwork—and I consistently centre my teaching on student empowerment. I am passionate about helping students develop essential academic skills such as academic writing, critical analysis, reflective practice, and research literacy.
My qualifications strengthen my pedagogical approach: I hold a PhD in Educational Sciences, a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I have also led modules, supported teaching teams, standardised assessments, and ensured high student engagement—both in traditional and blended learning environments.
I work closely with diverse learners and am committed to inclusive, equitable teaching practices that create a sense of belonging. Alongside teaching, I maintain an active research profile with publications in disability and inclusive education, and I strive to model academic integrity and evidence-based practice in everything I do.
