Skills
I am an experienced Housing Tutor and Coach with a strong background in delivering Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) qualifications and Housing and Property Management apprenticeships across Levels 2 to 5. I specialise in creating engaging, Ofsted-ready teaching resources, providing high-quality learner feedback, and supporting professional development through clear, structured guidance. My strengths include curriculum design, assessment, and quality assurance, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills. I am passionate about helping learners achieve their full potential and take pride in maintaining high standards of teaching, marking, and sector relevance through continuous professional development.
About
I have three Chartered Institute of Housing professional qualifications (levels 3, 4, 5), NVQ Level 5 in Operational Management, care management qualification, CAVA and AET certificates. With over 30 years of experience in the social care and housing sectors, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the housing industry and the communities we serve. I have operational and strategic experience, having been the CEO of a small association for nearly 16 years, as well as local authority and charity sector experience. Having moved from industry, I am now working as a housing skills coach and CIH Tutor, working with learners gaining L2 - L4 apprenticeships and L3 - L5 CIH qualifications.
