About
For consecutive years, I have been motivated by the power of education to transform young individuals' lives, particularly through their development and learning. For me, teaching is not simply about gaining and imparting knowledge; it is an opportunity to inspire, foster positive and supportive relationships, equip learners with the confidence and skills they need to realise their full potential. As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching and Learning Assistant in a secondary school, where I support students across a broad range of subjects and abilities. This position has enabled me to further develop my classroom experience, refine my communication and behaviour management skills, and gain a deeper understanding of how to meet pupils individual needs. I recently graduated in a BA (Hons) Education Studies with Mental Health and Wellbeing, where I explored key areas such as inclusive practice, curriculum development, and the importance of creativity in education. My academic studies, combined with my ongoing school-based role, have reaffirmed my aspiration to pursue a career in teaching within secondary education and make a meaningful contribution to young people's educational journeys. It is upmost crucial for students to be exposed with diversity, equality and inclusion throughout their educational journey.
