Skills
I have 30 years of IT Training experience. I have City & Guilds Adult Education certificate. In 1994 I gained the Microsoft Certified Trainer Certificate. in 2014 I gained the ITL Foundation Certificate. I enjoy working with people and particularly in a team. Due to 5 years of Helpdesk experience I also enjoy problem solving. While working at Richard Rogers Architects in 2004 in London one of the most relevant skills I have is working with external trainers for the BAA (British Airport Authority) exam required for their work on Terminal 5 at Heathrow. The impact for them as a business was, 8 people were trained and passed the exam.
About
I am immediately available for work and last worked at Ocorian in a remote role, as their Learning and Development Officer for 4 years. I worked on projects like the iManage Standardisation project in 2022-23 and most recently on the Fenergo project. I also delivered training for new starts on iManage (Document Management system) and NavOne (Time Recording). This was my second job in the Finance sector. I also worked for Ernst and Young in Glasgow on their German Helpdesk team between 2012 and 2013. I studied languages and am an excellent communicator and organiser. I am used to working with online testing software, while working at YouTrain in Stirling in 2013, for this role I qualified for ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) and MOS Master. For the Fenergo project at Ocorian we worked with SMEs and Stakeholders to get a clearer picture of the current software and testing used by Entity Management, Onboarding and File Review teams. This was to enable us to define what needed to be trained in the Fenergo software. In all my roles as an IT Trainer I am used to keeping training records for CPD purposes, using a database or Excel record. I am also very comfortable with working on multiple projects with tight deadlines. I have strong organisational skills, I am used to scheduling using the LMS Cornerstone, setting up training sessions and events, as well as recording who attended training. I have also used Moodle as a LMS, while working at Brodies LLP.
