As an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), I am skilled in developing and implementing effective sampling plans to ensure consistent monitoring of assessment practices. I regularly lead standardisation meetings to maintain consistency across assessors and uphold the integrity of assessment decisions. I also carry out assessor observations, provide constructive feedback, and maintain detailed IQA records and reports in line with awarding body and regulatory requirements. In my role as an Assessor, I create clear and structured assessment plans with learners, using a variety of assessment methods such as observations, professional discussions, and work product reviews. I ensure all assessment decisions are well-documented, provide detailed feedback linked to assessment criteria, and manage assessment schedules effectively to support learners progress and achievement.

An experienced education professional who has spent the last 5 years lecturing at the successful SMB College Group, now known as the Loughborough College Group. I have taught on both Curriculum at Further Education and Higher Education. I am familiar with different awarding bodies processes and procedures from Pearson, NCFE, Focus Awards & YMCA Awards. With many years leading the internal quality assurance processes, I can fit naturally into diverse teams, supporting and improving delivery models.
