About
I am a dedicated and adaptable teaching professional with a strong academic background in business, having recently completed an MSc in International Business with Data Analytics. My teaching experience spans a wide range of age groups and subjects, including English, Maths, Science, and Business-related topics. I have developed skills in lesson planning, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and supporting students with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language. In my current role at Jane Lane School, I plan and deliver differentiated lessons, support students individually and in small groups, and create inclusive, engaging classroom environments that promote learning and well-being. Previously, I worked at St Philip s Catholic School, teaching students from Nursery to Year 6, running after-school enrichment clubs, and collaborating closely with families and external professionals to enhance student outcomes. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning needs while maintaining high expectations for all learners. Alongside my teaching experience, I served as a Student Representative at the University of Ulster, where I developed strong communication and leadership skills by acting as a link between students and university staff, advocating for improvements to the academic and social experience, and supporting peer engagement and well-being initiatives. I have completed additional professional development, including safeguarding, supporting children s well-being, SEND support, and employability training, reflecting my commitment to inclusive education and student success. I am also highly proficient in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning. I am now seeking a full-time role in Further Education or Higher Education within West Bromwich or Birmingham. I am particularly interested in positions such as Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer, Student Support, or Student Services roles where I can combine my teaching expertise, analytical skills, and passion for supporting learners academic and personal development.
