About
As a growing and dedicated educator with a PGCE (Higher) from University of Huddersfield and proven classroom experience in further education, bring a unique combination of academic insight, supported by a First Class Honours degree in Media Production and Film and a Master's degree in Scriptwriting from University of Central Lancashire, alongside practical teaching expertise gained through my role as a temporary Expressive Arts Lecturer at City of Liverpool College, completed from March to July 2025
My five-month lecturing position, complemented by extensive placement experience at the same institution, has equipped me with hands-on skills in curriculum delivery, student engagement, and classroom management across diverse learning environments. I am committed to inspiring students through creatively focussed education while maintaining high academic standards and fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.
With a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical application, I am eager to contribute to a dynamic educational setting where I can utilise my subject expertise, teaching qualifications, and genuine enthusiasm for student development to make a meaningful impact on learners' academic and creative journeys.
In my previous work in the hospitality sector, I also gained several transferable skills in management, staff supervision, training and safety protocol, especially in my supervisory and kitchen management roles.
