Learning & Development (L&D) Programme Development & Lead:
I lead the review, re-design, delivery, and improvement of the RUK onboarding programme to align with business strategy and evolving workforce demands, including transitioning a 2-week virtual training experience to a blended digital, virtual, and in-person model.
Developed and implemented L&D roadmap for various business needs, creating engaging sessions tailored to adult learning principles and fostering awareness to drive participant buy-in.
Through the stakeholder network that I have built (Sofie Maervoet) I was offered the opportunity to join the global project to be one of the reviewing panel and contribute to the global sales training project that was led by Wes Connor. I then took the lead for this for the UK and attended train the trainer sessions for the UK. I have then worked with a colleague Josh Edwards - Sales Enablement Director to work with OTS Stakeholders to train them and then roll this out for their UK teams with their support.
Female Mentoring Programme UK - I created a roadmap for the deployment of this programme. I launched and led this programme which saw 16 females (high performer/high potential) being mentored by Senior leaders from RUK & Pareto.
Global System Deployment & Training:
Successfully led the deployment of global systems, including the new Dialpad telephony system in the UK. This involved providing initial L&D recommendations for rollout, running comprehensive training sessions, developing FAQ guides and self-help videos, and offering on-hand support during go-live to ensure a smooth transition. Worked closely with Philip Awbery-Maskell IT Operations Director and Agile Coach.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
Cultivated strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership and cross-functional teams, to rally support and ensure project success with the work that I undertook. Managed relationships with senior management across all business lines to facilitate communication and collaboration which supported me to keep close to the business and current challenges and allowed me to be proactive to come up with solutions to address localised business needs/challenges.
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships in my secondment at Pareto. I had to navigate a complex hierarchy matrix and use that understanding and those relationships to support me to navigate challenges when I received pushback to the changes I was proposing. The stakeholder I reported to on this project was James Knight - VP of Performance Consultancy
Data-Driven Decision Making & AI Tool Maximisation:
Established robust feedback and ROI reporting mechanisms (both quantitative and qualitative) to guide programme evolution and measure effectiveness on the programmes that I was responsible for.
Proactively engaged in reviewing and leveraging advanced AI tools available within systems like Dialpad to enhance basic usage.
Subsequently ran targeted training sessions for managers (in GCC, Parteo, and RUK) on analytics and other exclusive tools, supported by comprehensive manager guides and FAQs.
Worked on creating a series of Masterclasses to support Gemini Adoption in the UK. I sat as No.1 in the monthly usage report for the UK HR team in May and June. When developing these masterclasses I worked with Caryn Barnes - Head of Talent Tech & Data.
Talent Development & Mentorship:
Programme leader for the female mentoring initiative, a D&I initiative nurturing the next generation of female leaders. This involved:
- engaging with HR business partners to identify mentees and senior leader mentors
- creating a comms schedule (resulting in 16 pairings)
- developing support sessions to ensure both mentor and mentees felt supported in this process and understood what good looked like
-developed a programme of 6 Masterclasses on topics like personal brand and imposter syndrome, then I recruited Senior Female Leaders to co-facitate these sessions.
I provided coaching to a variety of individuals across the business as per request from management. Coaching a variety of people on a regular basis across the business allowed me to gain invaluable insight into key trends and business challenges which not only allowed me to support those individuals but it also provided me insight into trends. In turn I was then best positioned to share this insight and recommended actions with regional directors, HR business partners and our L&D team.
Strategic & Innovative Thinking:
Consistently applied a "bigger picture" perspective spotting and understanding complexity that others don't see. I demonstrate creativity and problem-solving skills to challenge norms. I understand the importance of identifying the correct stakeholder and building relations if I don't already have them in place to interact and create buy-in and influence change for business benefit.
I am comfortable to challenge the 'why' behind training sessions and decisions, leading to fantastic results despite initial resistance.
Adaptability & Agility:
Excelled in dynamic environments, readily taking on new challenges and adapting approaches to understand and navigate complex organisational landscapes.
I successfully reviewed and refined training objectives and also have proven experience of doing this in my secondment at Pareto where I was unfamiliar to the team, hierarchy and systems. I created materials, resources, streamlining content and re-writing session notes, workbooks, and slide decks.
