About

After 23 years as a senior digital marketing and multimedia contractor, I am now seeking to transition into higher education, where I can share my knowledge and passion for multimedia, digital marketing, and creative design with the next generation of creative professionals. My goal is to bring real-world industry experience into the classroom, inspiring students while supporting their development of practical and transferable skills in this fast-evolving field. Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of organisations leading digital transformation projects, designing and executing marketing strategies, managing creative teams, and delivering impactful data-driven campaigns. I have also created and implemented multimedia content strategies and worked across design, UX, social media, and performance analytics. These diverse experiences have given me a strong foundation in both the creative and analytical sides of digital marketing and multimedia production. Over the past few years, I ve increasingly found fulfilment in mentoring junior colleagues and delivering training sessions and workshops. These experiences sparked a genuine interest in teaching, and I now wish to formalise this path by entering a college or university setting as an educator. I hold a bachelor s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, and a master s degree in areas closely aligned to the subjects I wish to teach. While I bring strong industry insight and subject expertise, I am also fully committed to acquiring the pedagogical skills needed to become an outstanding teacher. I am therefore seeking teaching roles where the institution is able to support my progression towards a PGCE (FE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I am passionate about creating an inclusive, practical, and forward-thinking learning environment. I believe students benefit enormously from being exposed to real-world tools, case studies, and professional expectations especially in creative and digital fields that evolve so rapidly. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development, support student employability, and help build strong links between academia and industry. I am excited by the possibility of working within an institution that values innovation, diversity, and student success, and where I can grow into a dedicated, impactful educator in multimedia and digital creative disciplines.
