+44 7492 437667, l am writing to express my strong interest in the Lecturer in Computer Science position. With my extensive
background in computer science, passion for teaching, and commitment to academic excellence, I am
confident that I can make a significant contribution to the department and the success of its students.
Over the past 2 and half years, I have honed my expertise in computer science through a combination of academic
achievements and practical experience. I hold a Masters degree in Computer Science from C0MSATS
University, Pakistan and have conducted extensive research in Recommender Syste ms .My research has
resulted in publication of research paper in IEEE Access Journal (Impact Factor =3.557) with title "An O ptimal
Ride Sharing Recommendation Framework for Carpooling Services" and following authors H. Qadir, 0. Kha lid,
M.U.Shahid, A.LI.R ehman, R.Nawaz, l as first author. My second name changed after marriage from Qadir
to Azam.
In above work, I have analyzed, designed, and evaluated a unified and dynamic carpooling recommendation
system HASVR on the basis of large-scale historical GPS traces. HASVR considers the objectives of drivers,
requesting passengers as well as existing passengers during vehicle recommendation. Achieving a trade-off
between objectives of all the parties participating in carpooling is a major challenge that has been addressed
in my work. My main contribution is the mathematical model that is not dependent on any particular simulation
framework. From the simulation study, it is evident that our proposed recommend, ation system has the
potential in enhancing the syste m performance as compared to vacant taxicab services. I verified HASVR with
a rea-world dataset containing 61,136 taxicab traces.
In addition to my research background, I have a strong teaching experience. I have served as a Lecturer a
Department of Computer Science cOMSATS University Pakistan, where I taught courses in Software
Engineering, Web Technologies, and Human Computer Interaction. I am welversed in curriculum
development, student assessment, and creating a dynamic classroom environment that fosters active learning
and student engagement. I also warked as a Lecturer in Department of Computer Engineering, National
University of Technology, Pakistan where I Designed course plan and problem based leaming activities of
course "Data Structures and Algorith ms'. More over, I prepared Lab Manual of course "D ata Structures and
Algorithms" including open ended labs and I abs rubrics. I have also worked as currently working as Computer Science Tutor in
University of Bradford International College UBIC, Bradford, England, where I taught course of Software Emgineering and Introduction to Mathematics.
I am committed to providing students with a wellkrounded education that prepares them for the challenges of
