Skills
My teaching spans both traditional and modern methods, covering hand tools, machine work, woodworking techniques, CAD, and design for 3D making. I take a hands-on, material-focused approach that emphasises practical skill, experimentation, and understanding through making. As a highly skilled maker, I have worked with many architects, designers, and artists on high-end commissions. I have delivered workshops and teaching programs in schools and colleges, and I now run the New School of Furniture Making, where I teach adult short courses.
