About
• Prepare lecture notes and slides for lecturing on mental health nursing courses and related areas.
• Design and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions on mental health nursing.
• Develop and assess course materials, ensuring alignment with NMC standards.
• Supervise student research projects and clinical placements.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
• Engage in research activities and contribute to publications in mental health nursing.
• Collaborate with Ministry of Health and healthcare providers to enhance training programs
• Supervise student’s assignment and projects
• Assess students’ performance and award grades.
• Follow students to clinical sites for on the job assessment and evaluation
• Collaborate with the patient / client, their family, and the multidisciplinary team to facilitate the development and review of an appropriate care plan / discharge plan to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
• Promote a positive health concept with patients and colleagues and contribute to the health promotion initiatives with the Health Service Executive.
